The Holiday Season is here, and we all know what that means - Presents!

While Pokemon in Bottlecap Bay may be limited in their resources, that doesn't mean there isn't plenty to go around for the purposes of gift creation (or even gift purchase)! Through December, everyone will soon become aware of the fact that even without human traditions to follow, there does seem to be a trend in exchanging presents at this time of year...

So with that in mind, this post is so that players might have a place to more easily have their characters do just that! Simply post a comment for each character, and this will act as a place gifts can be delivered. In turn, simply comment to character headers with gifts your own will be delivering.

If you're unsure about if a gift is possible, leave a comment under Questions, below. Beyond that, please have fun, and look forward to the event post in a few days!

After visiting Anasui and Emporio's home, Dolly left a brown paper wrapped gift with a nice ribbon tied on top with a homemade plush sugar mouse on top underneath the Christmas tree. Once unwrapped is a journal that's filled with stories and drawings that Dolly has heard over time, some of which are pretty obscure fairytales such as 'Jorinde and Joringel'.

Surprise! It was equally difficult for her to hide this from him, given their shared living situation, but Parvati has hand-crafted a wooden book press for Perrin to use in his journalling endeavours.

It was a bit hard to hide it from her, since they live together, but Perrin has gotten Parvati custom-crafted gloves to help with the grip on her hammer, and to keep her fingers warm in this cold season!

Eleanor Lamb

They may not have truly met, but surprise! Ren has gotten Eleanor a collection of fairytales bound together into a storybook, as well as a supplementary portion of his signature spicy curry! He hasn't made it a ton yet here, so he's hoping it'll be something new for her to try.

Noelle gives Mayaka some paints pressed from local flowers, berries, etc! Noelle doesn't really know Mayaka's artistic inclinations yet per se, but she hopes that the gesture will be appreciated nonetheless.

Siffrin has left Dolly: a clay cookie jar with a Poffin pattern on it. There are no actual cookies inside, this is them teasing her about the nickname. Terrible.

What is inside: a smaller jar containing light-shaded (off-white), slightly luminous ink. Siffrin had a Shiny Stone, and after they and Dolly talked about star charts during the meteor shower, they got Rhydon's help to grind it up into pigment. The idea here is that if Dolly can find/make some dark paper, she can use it to draw herself some very fancy slightly glowy star maps. ...or she can use it for whatever else she wants! She could illustrate fairytales instead, they're not going to stop her.

There are also some candied berries wrapped in a little pawprint-patterned bandanna, to make up for the bait-and-switch with the cookies. Siffrin mostly just needed something to contain the berries and thought the pattern looked like Dolly's paws, but maybe Dolly is lucky(?) and the bandanna actually looks like the Foxlings' pawprints... (The color is up to you, Siffrin sure wasn't able to tell!)

Dolly left her present right at the front entryway of Siffrin's home, a light shade wrapped package accented with a vividly patterned ribbon. Looks like she kept her word on getting them a warm looking blanket, sorry Siffrin. It's not alone as inside is also a homemade small plush sugar mouse with a sound maker inside and a homemade star map of Earth's constellations that are marked with their names.

Maybe it was the season or maybe it was Dolly figuring Kaiba was adjusting to things. Whatever the reason, Dolly decided to be nice and deliver a present to Kaiba outside of his door. Outside of Kaiba's door is a package wrapped in brown paper and tied up nicely with a festive looking ribbon.

Inside of the package and it's clear Dolly remembers the time from when the Clue Quest was going on, is some homemade playing cards that are shaped like little cauldrons. More specifically, they're a recreated card game Dolly had learned a while ago called 'Potions and Poisons' and it comes with game instructions. The gameplay being similar to slamwich where the goal is making a potion and someone has to slam on the pile to take it and earn points from it but with a twist. Should someone places a poisonous item onto the pile, the next person has to slam on, take the poison pile, and lose points on it. Player with the most potions wins the game, a pretty straight forward game setup. There is also a blank deck of cards should Kaiba decides if he wants to make his own card game too.

Umemiya gives Akechi a nice navy blue notebook. The front cover is titled "Conspiracies".

Guilmon

Aegiomon's gifts this year are all personalized drawings, and he was especially eager to draw Guilmon's since he actually knows what Guilmon looks like! Even beyond Takato's drawing! ...Not that his skills are any better than Takato's, however. Guilmon will receive a drawing of his regular dino self alongside what appears to be Aegiomon's original form. The two of them stand in a very crude recreation of Shinjuku, smiling, perhaps as a representation of what could've been.

Guilmon is holding a loaf of bread because of course he is.

Flowey

Agnes doesn't do holiday presents. But at some point when Flowey comes to visit, there's a bag of hard candies with his name on it waiting with her.

Umemiya shows up with a Christmas-themed foccacia and the recipe so she can make her own if she wishes later, as well as something similar to a green calf jacket made to fit her, explaining it'll keep burrs and thorns from poking at her sides if she's out in the woods.

All of Aegiomon's gifts this year are personalized drawings, and he was definitely really excited to rush over to the Spire to hand Ume his. He'll receive a drawing with his Lucario self, although it would appear Lucario isn't exactly a beginner-friendly Pokémon to draw. Still, an effort was made, and Aegiomon must've been proud of what he managed to accomplish if his excitement is anything to go by. Ume is doing a cool pose in the drawing, and there is an implied emphasis on its coolness if the "special effects" Aegiomon has drawn in are anything to go by. It would appear that Aegiomon holds Ume in high regards and is super impressed by him if this mere drawing is anything to go by.

Next time Agnes comes home, she will find a large conch shell by her window. There's a small note, written in shaky hand, placed next to it.

Shoka Sakurane

AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED... Siffrin has delivered to Shoka: a mouse-shaped pincushion. They have handmade this one and their paws/mouth are not even remotely good for sewing, so the stitchwork is very visible and not at all straight, and also the little mouse eyes don't line up right... but oh my god did they try. It's filled with... whatever the Pokemon equivalent of ground walnut shells is, they asked someone what was good for sharpening needles. They have also attempted to match the aesthetic of her Mr. Mew outfit, the mouse has a little tiny fabric collar. (Whether the color is right is up to you, they absolutely could not tell.)

The mouse is guarding a variety of spicy snacks wrapped in paper and tied with twine. The twine is also wrapped around a Razor Fang that Siffrin traded a local Growlithe their Fire Stone for. (They did think about gifting her the Sticky Barb they just got from Kris's quest, because they thought she would find it very funny to use, but eventually decided they shouldn't just spring that on her... they've messed up her disguise Enough.......)

Mayaka doesn't know much about opera, but she spots a brand new recorder in the store and decides to get this as a thank you gift for the musically-inclined Catrina. It's a inexpensive and simple-to-learn instrument that Mayaka learned to play in music class during elementary school. (She has no idea if this will turn out to be more of a gift for a Catrina, or a curse unto the rest of the Bottlecap Bay.)

Laios Touden

If it weren't for Laios's quest and feast recently, Siffrin would probably err on the side of food here. But they have used up their Weird Food For Laios idea for the moment. So!

Instead they are dragging in for him: one entire Seviper Shed Skin that they found who knows where while questing! It's carefully rolled up for transportation and surprisingly well-preserved. Though "well-preserved" is tricky - the shed is heavily scarred from battles with Zangoose! Still, it's all in one piece, apparently this Seviper knew to stay hydrated while shedding...

When Laios unrolls the shed skin (it's nearly 3 meters long!!) he will also find one more object. While they were at it with the snake theme, Siffrin helped rescue a Gyarados back in early October, and this month bugged them for a large scale. Siffrin has scraped the center repeatedly until it became a kind of shallow trinket (or food?) dish - which was easier said than done, those scales are quite strong! If Laios looks very close, while it's faded into basic Gyarados blue with the evolution... there might be a very faint pattern still on it.

Next time Parvati sees Bigby, she hands him a very squished and lopsided ceramic cup she made herself. Since he seems to be drinking a lot -- she knows it's not the best, and is a little embarrassed, but figured since it's still perfectly usable he'd appreciate it anyway. If nothing else, he can keep a pencil in it or something.

Ho Ho Oh no...Catrina has broke into Kris's part of the cave (what she breaks is up to the imagination, but it's most certainly broken.) She leaves a lunch bag styled gift by Kris before slipping away on the clay.

Inside of the bag is some pretty horrifying looking stick dolls for Kris to hang up that may or may not be covered in moss or lichen (Catrina can't tell, they both look the same to her.) Amongst the nightmare fuel stick dolls are some delicious pinecones to crunch on and a chocolate chip cookie? She must have bartered with one of the cafes in town...

In a sad, lumpy package, A.B.A. will find that her friend Thirty Winters has made her a cloak and scarf - the scarf in particular has little keys embroidered on the short ends, and the clasp on the cloak is wooden and gnawed and carved to vaguely resemble a key as well! This chimera is going to be cozy in style.

Aegiomon

There's a nice little brown paper package with a little red ribbon tied on it with Aegiomon's name right on it. It would appear that Dolly absolutely adored the drawing Aegiomon made for her!

Inside the little package is a homemade plush toy sugar mouse, homemade gingerbread cookies, a little pillow that scented like baking spices, and two little red ear warmers to place on Aegiomon's ears to keep them warm this winter.

Surprise...? A gift basket full of Pecha Berries alongside a hand-crafted Wooloo plush have been left for Akira, alongside a note that reads:

"Have a TV-TASTIC Holiday!"

... Well, Tenna tried. He's just not very good at thinking about what people actually want. Hey, at least the Pecha berries could suffice as supplies for the clinic, right?

He knows those peets are good in this cold. But the ground can still be dangerous, so! Courier Six has made her boots. They're good and can help when the ground is too hot! Or cold. Or prickly.

Archnemon

In Aegiomon's quest to make sure all his friends get a drawing this year, he realizes that he has to be a little secretive with Archnemon's. Not secretive with her, he very much wants her to know it's from him, but he waits until he knows they're completely alone to present it. As Aegiomon knows what an Archnemon is, the drawing he presents her is of her true Digimon self in all her spider-y glory. Alas, he isn't aware she has a human form, but the spider-version he's drawn doesn't depict anyone scary. Archnemon is just a very normal Digimon as far as he's concerned, so she's drawn with a friendly face and big ol' smile. Besides her is another figure, one she probably won't recognize, but the horns on the child's head suggest this is probably Aegiomon's true form. He is also smiling.

Aegiomon will explain that he got a little excited when drawing this and forgot she may want to hide her real appearance from everyone, so he won't be offended if she decides not to display it or anything. He just thought it would be nice to let her know that this is how he really sees her, instead of the tiny hat form she's forced to deal with.
